Sons da Lusofonia is also dedicated to promote Portuguese culture abroad, particularly in Europe, in the field of emerging artists and creations related to Jazz and Global Music.

We are associated with the following national and international networks:

Portugal Jazz - a national nonprofit association officially founded in 2018 that brings together organizations linked to jazz and improvised music made and produced by residents in Portugal and/or by Portuguese nationals living abroad and other individuals linked to organizations related to Jazz in Portugal;

Europe Jazz Network - a nonprofit Europe-wide association of producers, presenters and supporting organizations who specialize in Creative Music, Contemporary Jazz and Improvised Music created from a distinctly European perspective. with 198 entities from 36 countries;

Anna Lindh Foundation - The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation (FAL) an international organization working from the Mediterranean to promote intercultural and civil society dialogue in the face of growing mistrust and polarization, shared by 42 countries in the region and its mission is to promote intercultural dialogue and mutual knowledge between people and societies on the southern and northern shores of the Mediterranean;

EFFE Label - European Festivals Association - An Europe’s quality stamp for remarkable arts festivals showing their engagement in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness. Today, more than 1550 festivals across Europe received the EFFE Label;

European Jazz Conference and We Insist! - In 2018, ASL organized the European Jazz Conference and the We Insist! in 2024 — one being the largest conference in the area of Creative Music in Europe, and the other an European seminar that works on inclusion through Jazz and other Creative Music — bringing together key agents of European Jazz in the city of Lisbon in both events;

ASL is also regularly present at international music fairs and meetings, like jazzahead! and Womex.
