Festa do Jazz is the largest Portuguese jazz festival organized by Associação Sons da Lusofonia, which has been bringing together different audiences, critics, promoters, professional musicians and jazz students for 21 years. Its objective has always been to create a unifying space, a moment of gatherness to formalize Portuguese jazz networks, which strengthens the various projects and the many young people involved in them, presenting new national talents. This edition, in addition to music, with artists such as Erik Truffaz, Clara Lacerda Quintet, LOKOMOTIV, Eduardo Cardinho "Not Far from Paradise", João Paulo Esteves da Silva Trio, NOUT, Decatet Porta-Jazz/ Robalo & Hans Koller and Orquestra de Matosinhos and Bernardo Tinoco, the Jazz Festival has a different program that involves project presentations, jam sessions, National Jazz School Meetings, artistic residencies and the premiere of the theater play “Who stole the...Jazz!”.
